The following are some notes / insights that I captured from a recent JavaScript Reverse-Engineering email exchange related to forking a GPL licensed project.
This is shared here with the intent of making the more generic aspects of the knowledge shared more reasily accessible to others; and as such, some of the more specific project details have been REDACTED or ..snip..'d, as they are irrelevant to this goal.
