| Before Tuesday June 4th: | |
| 1. Avoid doing any daily milestones if you can help it. If you can, you'll have ~3 extra powerful rewards on Tuesday. | |
| 2. Avoid redeeming any year 2 exotic or pinnacle weapon quest rewards. These will be worth more when the power cap is raised on Tuesday. | |
| 3. Turn in any daily or weekly bounties. Do not use any season 6 daily bounties to make progress on season 7 weekly bounties on Tuesday. I'm still trying to figure out the exact consequences for violating this, but all of the day one raid people have abandoned these due to Bungie comments. | |
| 4. Finish up any year 2 exotic or pinnacle weapon quests you can and hold these per #2. | |
| 5. Hold on to at least 2 Ballistics Logs so you can quickly complete Black Armory frames on Tuesday. | |
| On June 4th: | |
| 1. Pick up new season 7 weekly bounties to make progress (if any) during #3. | |
| 2. Pick up a Black Armory frame to make progress during #3. |

| General loadout advice: | |
| You want to use one gun for each ammo type: primary, special, and heavy. | |
| For primaries, you want something with a balance of good damage output, good reload time, and good magazine size. That can be almost any gun, but some perks are better suited to this balance than others. | |
| You want a special weapon because they enable you to be more self reliant when facing tankier orange bar and harder enemies by boosting your damage output. | |
| Power weapons are the most varied slot and yours will likely be selected to best suit the boss. If it's a real boss, like a strike boss and not the dogs in the Pleasure Gardens on Leviathan, swords will not be an option due to the stomp mechanic. Linear fusion rifles (except for Sleeper Simulant) are sadly out damaged by every other heavy weapon. Rocket and grenade launchers are decent options, but they run the risk of killing you due to misclicks or something/someone stepping in front of you as you fire.
