Backup a single app from iOS

Use iTools extract the ipa file from your iDevices

  • install itools
brew tap githubutilities/tap
brew cask install itools246
  • select App tab and then select your app and click backup

Notice that you will be prompted to choose to backup with documents and data or not. Backup with documents and data means that your current app's data will also be saved while the ipa file will be larger and take longer time to restore.
